[ferro-alloys.com]On last Friday, LME nickel price rose up further. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 12070 USD/T. It rose up by 310 USD/T. The domestic metal market rose up in general today, so did the market of Shanghai future nickel. Today, compared with Shanghai future nickel 2006 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was from 100 to 150 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 1100-1200 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 101800 RMB/T. It was 3200 RMB/T higher than the price on last trading day.

Both stainless-steel and nickel market were in upturn. So, the price of high-grade ferronickel rose up again. Today, the mainstream price of high-grade ferronickel was 910-950 RMB/Nickel, and the price of low-grade ferronickel was 3300-3450 RMB/T.
