The price rose up in the beginning, but later it dropped down. Today, compared with Shanghai future nickel 2005 contract, the premium of Russian nickel was from -50 to 50 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 1400-1500 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 98200 RMB/T. It was 600 RMB/T lower than the price on last trading day.

The price of future stainless-steel went up, so did the price of high-grade ferronickel. The mainstream price of high-grade ferronickel was 870-890 RMB/Nickel, and the price of low-grade ferronickel was 3300-3450 RMB/T.
