Ever since the outbreak, Baosteel has been trying to strike a balance between epidemic prevention and stable production.

East China's Yantai port unloaded 317,000 tons of iron ores in 26 hours after a large-scale ship from Brazil berthed in the port on Feb 18.

The port unloaded 12,196 tons of ore per hour, beating the previous world record of 11,670 tons per hour.

Yantai port was able to overcome the shortage of personnel caused by the epidemic to complete the unloading process in record time. The port even received a letter of thanks from the captain of the ship.
