By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 16555 USD/T yesterday. It was 295 USD/T lower than the price on last Friday.Due to fall of LME nickel price, the price of future nickel went down at first. However, it was said that Indonesia would halt nickel export in advance, the price lifted up later. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 1911 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was 300 to 500 RMB/T, and the discount of Jinchuan nickel was 100-300 RMB/T.Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 137600 RMB/T, it was 2100 RMB/T higher than the price on last Friday.

The stainless steel market was in downturn.It was said that Indonesia would forbid nickel ore export in advance. It affected ferronickel market, and its price went up a little. However, the ferronickel was still in lower level.The high grade ferronickel was quoted at 1140-1170 RMB/Nickel.The low grade ferronickel was quoted at 3300-3400 RMB/T.
