Due to fall of U.S dollar index and inventory of LME nickel, the price of LME nickel rose up largely. By the end of trading, it was quoted at 12710 USD/T, it was 245 USD/T higher than the price on last Friday. Today, the trading volume of future nickel was less. People were not positive in the market. The price of future nickel went up a little. Compared with Shanghai future 1908 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was 300-400 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 1700-1900 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan didn’t adjust its electrolytic nickel price, it remained at 101200 RMB/T.

The stainless steel market was stable today. The prices of all products remained the same. So, the ferronickel market kept steady today. The mainstream price of high grade ferronickel was 945-960 RMB/Nickel, and the price of low grade ferronickel was 3050-3250 RMB/T.
