It was 215 USD/T lower than the price on Monday. The trading volume of future nickel rose up. The supply of Jinchuan nickel was insufficient. So, the price of future nickel went up. Compared with contract of 1908 Shanghai future nickel, the discount of Russian nickel was 400-450 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 2000 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 99500 RMB/T, it was 300 RMB/T higher than the price yesterday.

Due to fall of LME nickel price, the price of stainless steel dropped down today. So, the ferronickel price could not rise up. The market of ferronickel kept steady. The mainstream price of high grade ferronickel was 940-960 RMB/Nickel, and the price of low grade ferronickel was 3200-3400 RMB/T.
