However, the trading volume was not as much as people’s expection. Compared with Wuxi 1906 contract, the premium of Russian nickel was 50 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 600-700 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 100800 RMB/T. It was 400 RMB/T lower than the price yesterday.

Although LME nickel price was in higher level recently. Due to insufficient demand, people were cautious in stainless steel market. After rising yesterday, the price of high grade ferronickel fell down a little today . Today, the mainstream price of high grade ferronickel was 955-965 RMB/T, and low grade ferronickel was quoted at 3200-3400 RMB/T.
