By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 12200 USD/T. It was lower than the price before Labor Day.Due to fall of LME nickel price, the price of Shanghai future nickel went down, and the traders were not positive in the market. Compared with Wuxi 1905 contract, the premium of Russian nickel was 400-500 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 3500-3800 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 99500 RMB/T. It was 1500 RMB/T lower than the price on last trading day.

After Labor Day Holidays, the stainless steel market kept steady. The prices of main products were not adjusted. So, the price of ferronickel remained the same. Today, the mainstream price of high grade ferronickel was 950-960 RMB/Nickel, and the premium of low grade ferronickel was 3200-3400 RMB/T.
