[Ferro-Alloys.com]Vale saw its production of manganese ore and manganese alloys rise in the third quarter of 2012 vs. the second quarter.
 
TheBrazilian company produced 116,000 mt of manganese alloys in the third quarter (58,500 mt of silicomanganese, 52,800 mt of high-carbon ferromanganese and 4,400 mt of medium-carbon ferromanganese) vs. 109,100 mt in the second quarter (59,800 mt of silicomanganese, 43,400 mt of high-carbon ferromanganese and 5,900 mt of medium-carbon ferromanganese).
