[ferro-alloys.com]New round China-U.S trade negotiation started in Beijing today. People were positive in the market. U.S stock index rose up yesterday. Meanwhile, core CPI growth of U.S reached people’s expections, and U.S dollar index lifted up. Yesterday, the price of LME nickel rose up by 10 USD/T. It was quoted at 12400 USD/T. People became more positive in domestic future nickel market. Due to rising of LME nickel price, the price of domestic future nickel went up a little. Compared with Wuxi 1903 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was 200 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 300 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 99300 RMB/T. It was 300 RMB/T higher than the price yesterday.

The stainless steel market kept steady today, and so did the ferronickel market. Today, the mainstream price of high grade ferronickel was 980-1010 RMB/Nickel, and the price of low grade ferronickel remained at 3250-3450 RMB/T.
