China’s cored wire industry started late. Limited by backward domestic production technology, there is a large gap between domestic cored wire enterprises and international manufacturers. Therefore, domestic enterprises should strengthen exchanges and study with foreign advanced enterprises, improve technology and adjust product structure continuously, develop products of high efficiency and low cost to meet the requirements of steel works to reduce cost and improve benefit, increase their own credit and improve the customers’ faithfulness and degree of satisfaction because an enterprise cannot get rid of mire of the price war or find out a better way out unless it keeps making breakthroughs in production and product.

At present, it is imperative for the industry to develop in the direction of integration of production, study, research and application. Some enterprises have started to connect with scientific research institutions with metallurgy research and development programs to establish strategic partnership, develop new products, expand new ideas, seek new projects and create new opportunities.

The enterprises should focus on national industrial policies. Especially after cancellation of export tariff for cored wire, exporter’s cost reduced and foreign customer’s demand increases. They should develop overseas market and enlarge export volume whilst strengthening the domestic market.

In order to establish and perfect the product standard of cored wire, to enhance market competitiveness of the products with new technologies, to expand the scale of the industry, to manage the phenomenon that the whole upstream and downstream cored wire industry was disturbed by racing to keep the prices down, to unify the prices of relevant products to realize sound circulation, it has been extremely urgent to establish a cored wire industry association. The enterprises are required self-discipline and obey the rules to achieve co-prosperity and co-development. The association should give its strength into full play to achieve Industrial information exchange, pay close attention to industrial development trend and timely and popularize new products to the enterprises. Also, the insiders should participate in cored wire industrial chain summit and other relevant activities actively. An industrial peak forum should be established to provide the industry elites with a broader platform for communication and cooperation on which they can put heads together and develop together.

Marketing network informationization should be realized to achieve quick, flexible and convenient share mode instead of conventional mode by Internet platform and to broaden online and offline channels. The enterprises should have both the initiative and the passive right to follow the market operation to achieve product sales promotion.

2018 is about to pass and 2019 is coming. As the saying goes that many hands make light work. We have reason to believe that under the guidance of numerous industrial elites, China’s cored wire industry will embrace new opportunities and write a new chapter in the new year and make greater contribution to the early realization of the “Chinese dream”.
