[ferro-alloys.com]On last Friday, a U.S FED senior official adviced to halt period of raising interest rate. U.S dollar was on declining trend. Relatively, LME nickel price rose up. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 10955 USD/T. It was 95 USD/T higher than the price on last trading day.Due to downturn of domestic nickel market, both Shanghai future nickel price and Russian nickel price went down, so did the price of Jinchuan nickel.Compared with Wuxi 1901 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was 300 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 7300 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 96000 RMB/T. It was 500 RMB/T lower than the price on last Friday.

The stainless steel market was in downturn today. The demand was insufficient. The prices of most products fell down. Meanwhile, some steel plants halted their production for overhaul. It affected high grade ferronickel market. The price of high grade ferronickel dropped down, The mainstream price wsa 935-955 RMB/Nickel. The low grade ferronickel price kept steady today. It was quoted at 3500-3600 RMB/T
