In key cities such as Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Tangshan, Handan, Xingtai and Anyang, capacity of iron and steel in the heating season has been limited to 50%. In other cities, the proportion must not be lower than 30%. Some of cored wire producers in Henan, the main cored wire production area of China have halted production in succession.

The overall operation of domestic cored wire market is relatively stable. Quotation of calcium silicon alloy has been stable basically after slight down at the beginning of last week with little probability of falling. The trend of calcium silicon cored wire market in East China is stable. There is no obvious adjustment in mainstream transaction prices of solid pure calcium cored wire, seamless metal calcium cored wire or ferro-calcium cored wire in the main production areas such as Jiangsu, Shandong and Zhejiang. There are few inquiries from downstream traders. There is no sign of boosting in actual demand in end iron and steel market yet.

At the beginning of December, the price of calcium silicon alloy, the raw material of calcium-silicon cored wire kept rising. The cold rolled strip steel has been stable. The statistics of raw material market prices shows that, in Shannxi and Ningxia, the mainstream transaction price of national standard Ca1 is 13,000 to 13,200 yuan per ton and Ca2 is 12,800 to 13,000 yuan per ton.

At present, there is no large change in mainstream transaction prices in domestic cored wire market yet. Calcium silicon cored wire (Ca28Si55) is 10,800 to 11,800 yuan per ton. Calcium silicon cored wire (Ca30Si58) is 12,000 to 12,500 yuan per ton. Pure calcium wire (Ca98%min∮9mm) is 10,800 to 11,800 yuan per ton. Ferro-calcium wire (Ca30∮13mm) is 8,300 to 8,800 yuan per ton. Ferro-calcium wire (Ca30∮30mm) is 10,000 to 10,500 yuan per ton. Carbon wire (C98%∮13mm) is 6,200 to 6,600 yuan per ton. Seamless metal calcium wire (Ca98%min∮9mm) is 12,000 to 12,500 yuan per ton. Seamless metal calcium wire (Ca98%min∮10mm) is 17,000 to 17,500 yuan per ton. Silicon magnesium wire(Si40Mg28Re2∮13mm) is 11,500 to 12,500 yuan per ton. The cold rolled steel strip SPCC0.35 *55 Q195 is 4,200 yuan per ton, SPCC0.35-0.39*55 and SPCC0.4-0.49*55 is 4,300 yuan per ton. It is estimated that cored wire market will be stable recently with no large price fluctuation.
