Restricted by cost, steel works have begun to use low-splashing seamless calcium wire with anti-splashing function and low cost. Market share is enlarged.

Comparing with spheroidizing agent, spheroidizing agent cored wire features low consumption rate of spheroidizing agent, high adorption rate, good spheroidizing effect and protecting physical and psychological health with mechanization.

Casting enterprises are still in face of environmental management. In recent years, steel/casting are confronted with production process upgrade, intelligent manufacturing trial and other situations. As a big power of steel and casting, with product homogeneity, the whole industry has a large space of development. Enterprises are required to invest more in improving product quality and technique whilst promoting progress of cored wire and raw material has been a goal of development of Made in China 2025. 

3. Prompts and Suggestions

The cored wire enterprises should improve technologies, adjust product structure, develop and produce cored wire of high efficiency and low cost and meet the requirements of steel works to reduce cost and improve economic benefit. Additionally, they should enhance their credit and improve stability and satisfaction of the customers because they cannot get rid of price war they are in or find out a better way out for development, unless they get breakthrough in production and products constantly. The enterprises should pay close attention to national industrial policies. Especially after elimination of export tariff of cored wire, the exporters’ cost reduced and demand of overseas customers increased. While strengthening domestic market, the enterprises should actively explore the foreign market and expand the export volume.

The whole upstream and downstream cored wire industry is confused by lowering price competitively. Therefore, it is necessary to establish an industry association of cored wire to unify the prices of the cored wire better to achieve virtuous circle. Meanwhile, the enterprises are required to be self-disciplined and to conscientiously abide by the industrial rules to achieve flourishing development. The enterprises should exert the power of the association to achieve industrial information communication.

The enterprises should pay attention to development trend of the industry and develop and popularize new applied products. Market information network informationization should be realized. The enterprises should achieve both active power and passive power to follow the market to promote product sales by using Internet, realizing fast, flexible and convenient sharing mode, changing the conventional mode and expanding on-line and offline channels.
