Meeting to be held tomorrow by Steel Ministry in India

The Union Ministry of Steel will arrange a meeting on "Capital Goods in Steel Sector: Manufacture in India" here on October 23 (Tuesday).

Preparation media persons in New Delhi, Union Steel Minister Chaudhary Birender Singh said that the proposed meeting would be held to advance household limit and capacity building and assembling of capital merchandise in the steel segment. It would be sorted out with help of MECON and CII. The goal is to change India into a world class producing center point through gigantic synergistic endeavors with best-in-class foundations and industry around the globe, he said.

The National Steel Policy (NSP)- 2017 imagines setting up of 300 Million Tons (MT) steel limit by 2030-31. There will be an enormous speculation of over Rs 800,000 crore in the division.

Five Union Ministers, Singh, Commerce, Industry and Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Petroleum and Skill Development Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Heavy Industry and Public Sector Enterprises Minister Anant Gangaram Geethe and Minister of State for Steel Vishnu Deo Sai alongside Chief Minister Naveen Patraik are planned to go to the conference, said an official discharge.

Twenty MoUs will be marked on the event.
