Cored wire is a composite product used for steel processing, which some problems appear in production resulting in very serious consequence on quality of steel. Now, the two frequent problems are introduced as below:

1.    The cored wire is squashed or torn and cannot be fed in.

Causes are empty material or less material in the cored wire or loosely packed resulting in leakage of material, out of round cored wire packed, flimsy pack, poor quality of steel strip or overworn roller of wire feeder.

Solution: Adjust the equipment, feeding speed, particle size of silicon calcium alloy, improve quality of cored wire, import qualified steel strip and reflect the wear situation of roller to the material consumer timely.

2.    Loose material in the cored wire.

Solution: Weld the cored wire coil firmly by increasing packing strings.

Quality problems of cored wire are very serious for steel so that the knowledge is very necessary to be learned.
