People worried that U.S would impose tariff on $200 billion Chinese goods. These news made nickel price dropped down largely again in London Metal Exchange. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 12335 USD/T. It was 135 USD/T lower than the price on last Thursday.Affected by LME nickel trend, the price of Shanghai future nickel went down largely. Compared to Wuxi 1809 contract, the premium of Russian nickel was 200 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 6000 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 107500 RMB/T. It was 1000 RMB/T lower than the price on last Friday 

The second round environmental protection inspection went on, the nickel market was not well. In September, several steel plant halted their production for overhaul. Both supply and demand were in low level.Today, high grade ferronickel price dropped, the mainstream price was 1060-1080 RMB/Nickel. Affected by environmental protection inspection, the output of low grade ferronickel was restricted, and the price of coke rose up. So, the price of low grade ferronickel was in high level. It was quoted at 3650-3750 RMB/T.
