Chen Kexin, an analyst, said that China's crude steel production would reach 900 million tons in the whole year, adding in more than 10 million tons of crude steel imports, all the new added resources are bound to exceed 900 million tons.

Considering that the national steel social inventory and the steel enterprise inventory have not been significantly increased since this year, and are even significantly lower than the previous inventory peak, this indicates that the national crude steel and steel production in the first half of this year, including the significant growth, has been basically converted into consumption. In other words, China's new resource quantity of crude steel (output and import in the same period) was about 458.18 million tons in the first half of the year, while the actual consumption of crude steel in the same period was about 460 million tons.
