[ferro-alloys.com]On last Friday, China and U.S. started to impose tariff on goods of each other. The LME nickle market was shocked. The price went down in general. By the end, the LME nickle was quoted at 13960USD/T. In the morning, the traders kept calm in the future market. The price of future nickle went down slightly in Shanghai Future Exchange. Compared to Wuxi 1807 contract, the premium of Russian nickle was 150RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickle was 450RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickle at 112500RMB/T. It was as the same as the price on last Friday.

To the stainless steel market, it’s off-season at present. The demand for ferronickle is limited. The domestic environmental inspection has not been completed. There are not enough plants to start productions. The supply is restricted in the market. So, the price of ferronickle kept steady. Today, the high grade ferronickle was quoted at 1080-1100RMB/T, and the price of low grade ferronickle was 3400-3450RMB/T.
