[ferro-alloys.com]Influenced by the fall of U.S. Dollor, the price of LME nickle rose up a little on last Friday.By the end of the trading, the price of LME nickle was 14940USD/T. Affected by LME trend on last Friday and the messages about the insufficient nickle supply in the market, the price of future nickle went up in Shanghai Future Exchange. Compared to Wuxi 1807 contract, the premium of Russian nickle was 100RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickle was 300RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickle (big board) at 117000RMB/T. It was 500RMB/T higher than the price last Friday.

Especially 200 series and 300 series stainless steel prices, they were both higher. What’s more, the environmental protection inspection was still going on, and some of plants did not resume their productions due to environmental renovation or other reasons. So, the supply of ferronickle was still insufficient in the market. Today, the price of high grade ferronickle remained at 1070-1090RMB/Nickle. The low grade ferronickle price was risen up to 3400-3450RMB/T.
