Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickle price(big board) at 96900RMB/T. The nickle price went up and down. The downstream firms purchase their raw material as required. The trading was not as positive as people expected. The mainstream price is between 96200RMB/T and 96900RMB/T.

At present, the high grade ferronickle price is ranged from 975RMB/Nickle point to 985RMB/Nickle point. The domestic environment protection policy is strict,and the spot goods are short. However, the terminal demand is limited. This makes the stainless steel keep steady. The steel plants are not eager to buy high grade ferronickle. The final decision about Philippine nickle ore exploration ban will be decided in August.Besides,the rain season in Philippine has ended. The volume of imported nickle ore will be increased. These made the nickle ore price fell down. Influenced by 200 series stainless steel market, the low grade ferronickle has decreased to 3200RMB/T.
