[Ferro-Alloys.com]It is reported that Taiyuan Iron & Steel Group, the largest stainless steel producer in China, had cut the export quotes by USD 50 per ton on July 23rd 2012 due to soft demand and dropped nickel prices.

It's known that the nickel prices at LME have continued falling to break USD 16,000 per ton. Even though the steelmakers have been suffering from the loss, they still cut the prices further to gain orders.

Traders indicated that Tisco remained its export quotes flat early this month while the prices were unfavorable to buyers. Therefore, the company decided to cut the prices further on July 23rd 2012 to gain orders.
