Along with rise of price of molybdenum raw material, and most molybdenum miners are reluctant to sell out the goods and support the offers. Production cost of ferromolybdenum plants increases, the demand is weak in the slack season, and supply and demand in a stalemate status is difficult to change in a short time, and worry of price of molybdenum concentrate tending to be high increases.

 Currently, according to different taste of Chinese molybdenum concentrate, offer including VAT is at RMB 1,030 to 1,110 / ton of degree, compared to last Friday, the offer tentatively keeps stable, although from the last week, price of ferromolybdenum slightly loosed, but since last weekend, prices of molybdenum concentrate and molybdenum oxide rose again, supporting prices in the ferromolybdenum market difficult to reduce  too much.

Because mine is under production and its inventory is less, prices of molybdenum concentrate and molybdenum oxide was not encumbered by fall after rise of price of ferromolybdenum since midmonth of July; on the contrary, appearing in rise going against the market, make the price of ferromolybdenum difficult to fall but tend to rise, after all, continued high of cost of raw material, furthermore, slight rise of price of bid inviting of steel mill and rise of price of downstream stainless steel rises once more, bring a certain confidence support to molybdenum market, it is expected that under the support of firm price of cost for a short period, prices in Chinese molybdenum market may refuse to budge and fluctuate in a small range.
