Vanadium market was slightly weak this week and the trading volume was still not large.

 Price of vanadium in European market dropped, price of Ferro-vanadium≥78% in European dropped to RMB 256,000 to 65,000 USD/kg vanadium; price of platy vanadium pent oxide 98% in European dropped to 5.5-5.8 USD/pound vanadium oxide.

Ferro-vanadium 50% is mainly quoted at RMB 99,000 to 101,000/MT, acceptance including VAT and RMB 97,000 to 99,000/MT, ready cash including VAT, and the concluded price is RMB 98,000 to 100,000/MT, acceptance including VAT and RMB 96,000 to 97,000/MT, ready cash including VAT. Platy vanadium pent oxide is mainly quoted at RMB 96,000 acceptance including VAT and RMB 95,000, ready cash including VAT, and the concluded price was at RMB 95,000 to 96,000/MT, acceptance including VAT and RMB 94,000, ready cash including VAT. Ready cash including VAT of metallurgy level vanadium powder 98% is at RMB 92,000 to 94,000/MT; ready cash including VAT of Chemical level Powder vanadium pent oxide 98% is at RMB 94,000 to 95,000/MT; ready cash including VAT of Chemical level Powder vanadium pent oxide 99% is at RMB 96,000 to 98,000/MT. Acceptance price of ammonium metavanadate 98% is at RMB 90,000 to 92,000, its ready cash including VAT is at RMB 88,000 to 90,000/MT and its ready cash excluding VAT is at RMB 78,000 to 80,000/MT. Nitrided Ferro-vanadium V45N10 is mainly quoted at RMB 100,000/mt, acceptance price including VAT. Offers of Vanadium-aluminium Alloy appear in regional feature, offer in Jinzhou District is at RMB 116,000/MT (50 basic price), offer including VAT in Shaanxi District is at RMB 140,000/MT, offer of new coming product AlV55 of CNMC NingXia reaches to RMB 150,000/MT.

Bid inviting price of 100 tons Vanadium-nitrogen alloy of a steel plant in Jiangsu in June 2017 is RMB 148,000/mt (acceptance including VAT) announced this week, in line with the price of bid inviting of last week.

Outputs of Platy vanadium pent oxide and Powder vanadium pent oxide have slightly increased in May and tense supply of Vanadium raw material gets a certain relief, however, the demand for Powder vanadium pent oxide is still comparatively exuberant, so the Powder vanadium pent oxide enterprises insist their prices, under the support of firm price of Powder vanadium pent oxide in China, vanadium market shocked down slightly this week.
