[www.ferro-alloys.com] Russia Magnitogorsk steel works (MMK) released revenues statement in 1st quarter this year, MMk’s crude steel production reached 3.02 million tons, an increase of 4.4% year on year.

Those for furnace capacity utilization rose to 59%, finish steel production reached 2.79 million tons of, an increase of 4.5% year on year.

In addition, MMK’s high added value products production were 1.25 million tons in the 1st quarter. In the meantime, MMK’s iron ore consumption was 745,000 tons, down by 10.1% month on month.
