[Ferro-Alloys.com]In last week, European medium heavy plate prices remained stable. Some of the mills are trying to continue to raise prices, mainly due to slab supply affects the delivery of medium heavy plate.

Some of mills announced S235 and S355 medium heavy delivery date has been extended to July, and more buyers speed up the purchasing activity, so mills again raise plate prices at €25-30/ton, the target delivery prices are at €500/ton. 

But the main plate end users think that the current high prices is unsustainable, so only purchase needed resources, waiting for the market to clear.
