Up to December 2015, nickel stockpile was 26400t higher than the same period of last year. 2015 global refined nickel ouput totally reached at 1920600t while the demand quantity was about 1934000t. Japanese refined nickel output increased 14800t year over year while apparent demand increased 1200t in 2015. And global apparent quantity increased 234000t year over year.

Nickel ore output in 2015 was about 1772900t, 130000t less than 2014. Since Indonesia carried out its ore ban, the nation’s nickel ore output slip. In December 2015, global refined nickel output was about 163300t and refined nickel consumption was about 167300t.
