According to China Administration of Customs statistics showed in January of this year, Chinese steel exports totaled 9.74 million tons, down by 5% month on month to 920,000 tons.

In January, China imported 930,000 tons of steel, down by 19.1% year on year; down by 250,000 tons month on month.
