[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to Custom’s Statistics, China imported ferronickel of 62581.866t in November, an increase of 159.9 percent year over year. From January to Novenber, China totally imported ferronickel of 625927.427t, an increase of 145.35 percent year over year.

Since Indonesian central government has forbidden the export of original ore in 2014, several giants in Chinese steel industry has set out to build smelting plants in the nickel-rich island country. One year later, such projects start to release their capacity and deliver to Chinese mainland and share a part of Chinese nickel market.
