[Ferro-Alloys.com] Nickel Price Held Steady last week. On December 24th, nickel price in London Metal Exchange closed at 8620 dollars and its opening stock increased to 445332t.

In the year-end, global financial market continues to be turbulent, nickel industry continues to be weak in the demand side although a large nickel capacity has been cut in the past few months. In the short term, nickel price is not expected to improve because of a lack of capital and a market with uncertainty.

Since Fed has started hiking the interest rate this month and Chinese government has enhanced its consumer-orientated development, nickel industry tend to be more pressure when nickel stock still need time to be digested.
