[Ferro-Alloys.com] Last week, domestic low-grade ferrous nickel price tumbled pretty much while mid- and high-grade ferrous nickel held steady. The low-grade ferrous nickel 1.6-1.8 was mainly quoted at 1700-1750yuan/t, down 50yuan/t week over week. Mid-grade ferrous 4-6 was mainly quoted at 780-790yuan/ni; ferrous nickel 6-8 was mainly quoted at 770-790yuan/ni; High-grade ferrous nickel 10-15 was mainly quoted at 770-790yuan/ni.

Among last week, the steel makers announced a higher purchase price of nickel alloys. On Oct. 27, Guangqing Technology Corporation finalized the purchase price of high-grade nickel alloys as 800yuan/ni in the fourth round, up 20yuan/t compared to last time.

In October 2015, the Ferrous nickel output hit a record low of 23,100 tones in Liaoning Province since the Indonesian ban. Among last month, the high-grade ferrous nickel was mainly traded at 780-800yuan/ni and mid-grade ferrous nickel was most popular.
