Prices for goods exported by Kazakhstan decreased by 2.5 percent in August compared with July, while prices for goods imported by Kazakhstan saw a 2 percent decrease, said the message of the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan.
For a month, prices for exported coal decreased by 13.3 percent, gas condensate - by 10.4 percent, oil - by 7.9 percent, ferroalloys - by 2.6 percent, aluminum - by 2.3 percent.
Prices for exported wheat decreased by 13.3 percent, cotton - by 0.5 percent.
At the same time, prices for lead exported by Kazakhstan rose by 11.2 percent, ores of nonferrous and ferrous metals - by 2.6 percent, ferrous metals - by 0.8 percent, copper - by 0.6 percent, wool – 12.6 percent.
Among the imported products, prices for coffee fell by 10 percent, vegetables - by 5.9 percent, dairy products - by 3.7 percent, fish - by 2.1 percent, vegetable oil - by 1.9 percent, tea - 1.3 percent, poultry - by 1.2 percent. At the same time, prices for imported margarine rose by 4.1 percent, pharmaceutical products - by 3.7 percent, textiles - by 3.6 percent, fruits and nuts - by 3.2 percent.
