[Ferro-alloys.com] According to US Census Bureau data released, the country’s steel exports totaled 813,053 tons in this July, down by 8.1% m-o-m, down by 20% y-o-y.

Due to weak market demand in Canada and Mexico, these two countries have contributed a huge drop on steel exports form US, since most of the steel goes to the two neighbors, mainly for auto factories. 

According to American Institute for International Steel (AIIS) announced, Canada’s steel imports fell 10% m-o-m, down 25% y-o-y. Mexico’s steel imports fell 8% m-o-m, down 15% y-o-y.
