[Ferro-alloys.com] According to the Japan Iron and Steel Association data released in August of this year, Japan’s small bar production was 715,800 tons, down 4.4% y-o-y, and down 2.3% m-o-m to 732,700 tons. 

During January-August of this year, Japan’s small bar production was 5.8091 million tons, down 4.9% y-o-y. Meanwhile, monthly average production was 726,000 tons, annual production was 8.71 million tons.
