[Ferro-alloys.com] According to Argentina Iron and Steel Association (CAA) in August, Argentina's crude steel production rose 1.3% y-o-y, to 473,500 tons, an increase of m-o-m. During the first eight months of this year, the country’s crude steel production output fell 8.3% y-o-y, to 3.3 million tons.

Among the, the country’s hot-rolled finished products output rose 0.8% in August y-o-y, down 2.8% m-o-m, to 395,600 tons. Those for cold-rolled finished products output rose 22.9% y-o-y, an increase of 10.7% m-o-m, to 143,000 tons.
