[Ferro-alloys.com] According to International Iron and Steel Institute of latest statistics showed, the 65 countries from worldwide produced 1.32 billion tons of crude steel in August, down 3% y-o-y. Meanwhile, the crude steel capacity utilization was 68%, down 3.6% y-o-y and down 0.4% m-o-m. 

Among them, China's crude steel output fell 3.5% in August y-o-y; Japan produced 8.8 million tons of crude steel in August, down 5.8% y-o-y. Germany produced 3.4 million tons of crude steel, an increase of 10.7% y-o-y; France’s crude steel output fell 1.5% y-o-y; Italy’s crude steel output fell increased 1.3% y-o-y; Turkey crude steel output fell 11.8% y-o-y.
