[The ferro-alloys.com] According to the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) announced that U.S. steel industry is facing risks of cheap imports of cold-rolled flat steel from seven countries. The countries are included Brazil, China, India, Japan, South Korea, Russia and the United Kingdom, and voted to continue investigation that could lead to import duties.

In 2014, the seven countries in question totaled US$1.2 billion of steel imports that are used in industries such as auto making to construction.
