CaSi Price Stayed Flat While Export Still Not Resumed

[Fellow] The first week of September saw a stable CaSi market with mainstream CaSi30 ex-work price stayed at RMB 9,000—9,100 per ton and CaSi28 RMB 8,800—8,900 per ton.

[Ferro-Alloys.com] The first week of September saw a stable CaSi market with mainstream CaSi30 ex-work price stayed at RMB 9,000—9,100 per ton and CaSi28 RMB 8,800—8,900 per ton.

Operation situation of major CaSi producers were as follows: there were 12 sets of 30000KVA furnaces and 4 of them were running at the moment and the rest was either overhauled or shut down for decreasing demand.

Exchange rate finished its fluctuations and exchange rate of RMB vs USD now stayed around 6.37. export business still didn’t get resumed at Tianjin Port. Thus companies can’t offer quotation prices. It is expected that FOB price would rise when export resumes.
