[Ferro-Alloys.com]In recent period, price of ferrosilicon in China still failed to in good shape. Price of 75# lingered about RMB5,100/mt while RMB4,800/mt for 72, the floating range about RMB50-100/mt. Increasing operation rates in early period aggravated sale pressure amid sluggish demand in traditional season.

As for export market, price of 75# stood at USD1,220-1,250/mt while USD1,210-1,230/mt fob. Despite comparatively good performance in H1 2015, high export tariff and smuggle still severe hampered Chinese ferrosilicon exports as a whole. Apart from long term contracts, there were little enquiry from oversea, according to some traders.

In general, given slack season and strict environmental inspection as military parade approaching, future market of ferrosilicon would face greater challenge.
