Cored Wires: Future Price Further Down as Predicted by Company

[Ferro-Alloys.com] Xixia Hengguan Metallurgy Co., Ltd is a large-sized company producing refractory and protective materials for steel smelting. Located in Xixia industrial zone, Hengguan enjoys convenient transportation and fast communication. The company has owned advanced equipments and a series of testing procedures, thus the quality is well under control.

As a vital business, Hengguan has owned 2 lines producing CaSi cored wires, carbon cored wires, FeCa cored wires and monthly output totals 200 tons. Quotation prices for them are RMB 7,750, 4, 600, 8,200 per ton respectively.

According to their sales manager, steel mills purchase CaSi cored wires on large scales and carbon cored wires& FeCa cored wires less.

Currently mainstream steel mills have cut their steel output, thus prices for raw materials have dropped greatly, at the same time, along with less purchase orders came ever-dropping procurement price, cored wires price would drop further, the manager predicted.
