[Ferro-Alloys.com]It is said that low purchase price of Sha group on manganese alloy in May gave rise to alloys chaos performance in south areas. Despite high water season, low operation rates for alloys in south bring about shortage supply to some steel mills. Meanwhile, traders in north showed active performance and some of them even attempt to edge up quotation slightly. Given there is a positive signal on alloys market, transaction for imported manganese ore in China also showed in good shape amid increasing operation rates for alloys factories.

In June, the negative factors gave way to positive signal, and HBIS already showed hard to further cut on manganese alloys with only a small fluctuation. Furthermore, shortage supply in south was forced to local steelmakers put bidding price higher than HBIS.

Although alloys price already touched the bottom line, grim economy still exerted tremendous pressure on steel market. For ferroalloys, production capacity is still a serious excess. The price will be likely to continue to hover at the bottom of the bottom if there is no strong positive factor.
