[Ferro-Alloys.com]Entering mid-Apr., the medium and high grade nickel ores price further declined under weak purchases.

The following chart was Philippines Ni ore 1.8% CIF price (China main ports) from Jan. to Apr.15^th, 2015-China (Unit: USD/wet mt)

In recent month, the high and medium grade nickel ores spot price declined by RMB90 and RMB120/wet mt respectively. Future price turned down since early Mar. and up to mid-Apr., the above material price declined by USD21 and USD19/wet mt respectively.

In mid-Apr., the FOB, CIF and spot price of Ni ore 1.6% was USD31-32/wet mt, USD38-39/wet mt and RMB330-340/wet mt. Ni ore 1.8% was USD55/wet mt, USD61/wet mt and RMB480-490/wet mt. the price gap between two parties was USD1-2/wet mt. it was expected that in short term, the nickel ores spot price would continue to be weak.
