[Ferro-Alloys.com]Domestic demand of chrome ores are increasing as high-carbon ferrochrome producers in South China increased their production rate due to the declining electricity price caused by the arrival of rainy season. China's import volume of chrome ores averages at 0.66 million tonnes in October 2014-February 2015, which remained at history low level, while the increasing production rate of high-carbon ferrochrome in South China would bring the volume into an uptrend channel. Meanwhile, due to the weak high-carbon ferrochrome market in China, it is expected that the chrome ores prices would maintain the current level in the coming month.
