CODELCO's Mo Production in Full Year 2014 Is 68.3 Million LBS

Corporacion Nacional del Cobre (CODELCO), Chile has recently announced the results of its production and sales in the full year 2014 (January - December). This announcement shows the production volume of molybdenum in pure element equivalent was 68.34 million lbs (31,000 tons), which represented a drastic increase of 34.8% versus the prior year (50.71 million lbs = 23,000 tons). On the one hand, the sales volume in pure element equivalent was 59.52 million lbs (27,000 tons), which represented an increase of 22.7% versus the prior year (48.5 million lbs = 22,000 tons). The trends in production and sales volumes of molybdenum are as shown in the table below. For a reference, the figures in the period from October to December in 2014 are by estimate.
