[Ferro-Alloys.com]According to report from Alacero, Latin America’s steel imports rose by 14% in January compared to the same period last year.

The total imports in the region were 2 million tons, compared from 1.7 million tons in the same period last year.

Meanwhile, the exports totaled 661,000 tons, dropping by 6% from the previous month.
