[Ferro-alloys.com]This week the LME nickel price continued to decline, which closed at USD13,645/mt on Mar.26th, down by USD70/mt than last week while the stock increased by 972tons to 432,792tons. In Chinese Market, the Jinchuan 1# nickel was quoted at RMB103, 200-103,600/mt, declining by RMB100/mt.

In recent week, the low FeNi price maintained at RMB2500-2550/mt. the spot supply was not abundant while the tight condition also has not been seen. Meanwhile, the mainstream high FeNi purchasing price from steel mills stayed at RMB1030/Ni (delivery price with tax by cash). This week all the ferroalloys enterprises were required to close down for about two weeks. In addition, in Jiangsu and Shandong province, the capacity was only about 30%. Under the poor market condition and the high fund pressure, most discontinued factories were reluctant to recover the production. in quarter 1 of 2015, the stainless steel coil price(304/2B) in Chinese market had already decreased by more than RMB1000/mt. the positive signal has not been seen.
