[Ferro-Alloys.com]Domestic supply of high-carbon ferrochrome became sufficient last week as there were stocks for most high-carbon ferrochrome producers, but the prices still remained strong. On the other hand, we can see the determination that the producers would increase their prices when TISCO raised its tender price for high-carbon ferrochrome in March as the price was a result of the producers’ quotations. In the meantime, China’s largest low-carbon ferrochrome producers lowered its price further, which exacerbated domestic competition in low-carbon ferrochrome market due to its large amount of supply. The strong prices of high-carbon ferrochrome and the new tender price from TISCO put the price into an uptrend channel, which would be a good sign for domestic ferrochrome market.
