[Ferro-Alloys.com] It is said that price of high carbon ferromanganese in China already experienced a slight downturn last week after submitting to lowering bidding price from steel mills. Under such affect, Chinese ferromanganese traders also edged down sale slightly in recent period. As for medium carbon ferromanganese, there was not obvious downtrend in the price of it on spot market except from those who have directly cooperation with steelmakers. In terms of low carbon ferromanganese, the price kept in line with last month temporarily.

One trader based in Shanghai said that high carbon ferromanganese 65 was lowered down to RMB5,000-5,100/mt, while RMB7,900-8,000/mt for medium carbon ferromanganese 75C2.0.

In short, the performance of ferromanganese becomes more active in mid-March as increasing enquries shown in market. Nevertheless, the transaction is still really depressing.
