[Ferro-alloys.com]According to the statistics, unwrought nickel imports of China in recent five years present a downturn trend. In 2010 and 2011, total import volume of unwrought nickel was 180-210thousand tons while in 2012 and 2013 it declined to 160-170thousand tons. in the first 11monts of 2014, total imports was just 125thousand tons, decreasing by 18.8% and 11.9% compared with that of 2013 and 2012, of which Russian unwrought nickel increased by 3.2% to 72,765tons, Canada’s declined by 21% to 18,470tons, Japan’s fell by 15.2% to 7,975tons, South Africa’s down by 4.4% to 5,412tons and Norway’s dropped by 84.5% to 3,582tons.
