In terms of supply, China totally imported 1.13118 million tons of manganese ore in November, showing a further downturn comparing with the prior month 1.34 million tons and also representing a 21.6% decreasing from the same period of last year according to data from Chinese customes statistics. Among of this, Australia still placed the first and sold 461.83 thousand tons of manganese ore to China from 527.9 thousand tons in October. South Africa put the second and supplied 353.17 thousand tons manganese ore from 464.2 thousand tons.

In conclusion, since steelmills are still in hard time, it is predicted that manganese alloy would still be likely to face another downturn. Given poor performance of alloys and raising financial pressure, sale trouble would likely to further push down ore spot in the near future.
